Cruz and Scheitrum Return to AEC Men’s Track & Field Weekly Honor Roll
Lancaster, Pa. – (4/8/2025) – Gwynedd Mercy University freshman Tyson Scheitrum (Harrisburg, Pa.) and senior Victor Cruz (New Castle, Del.) returned to the Atlantic East Conference (AEC) Men’s Track and Field Report as Weekly Honor Roll mentions for their performances at the Muhlenberg College Invitational. The Red and Gold enjoyed a Top-10 finish in the Discus (7th, 37.03) courtesy of Scheitrum and a pair of Top-10 sprints thanks to Cruz’s efforts in the 100-Meter (7th, 11.11) and 200-Meter (4th, 22.73).
Marywood University senior Brandon Reed (Taylor, Pa.) was selected as the AEC Men’s Track Athlete of the Week, while his sophomore teammate Will Canney (Hatboro, Pa.) was named the AEC Men’s Field Athlete of the Week.
The Gwynedd Mercy University men's and women's track and field teams continue their outdoor season on Friday, April 11, when they compete at the Messiah University Invitational. Events are scheduled for a 4:00 p.m. start.
