Lancaster, Pa. – (1/21/2025) – Gwynedd Mercy University graduate guard Dylan Harris (Bloomsburg, Pa.) averaged 14.0 points and 4.0 rebounds per game in a 1-2 week that saw him shoot at a 16-of-23 (.696) rate that included 10 threes (10-of-15, .667). His effort over the recent three-game span earned him a spot on the Atlantic East Conference (AEC) Men’s Basketball Weekly Honor Roll.

Marymount University sophomore guard Jase Mosley (Upper Marlboro, Md.) was named the AEC Men’s Basketball Player of the Week, while Neumann University junior forward Donte Dupriest (Philadelphia, Pa.) was honored as the AEC Men’s Basketball Defensive Player of the Week. Harris was joined on the Weekly Honor Roll by Immaculata University senior guard Dylan Crews (Philadelphia, Pa.) and sophomore guard Mandon Seapoe (Upper Darby, Pa.), Centenary University (N.J.) sophomore guard Naire Preston (Ewing, N.J.) and Jasir Lane (Hoboken, N.J.), Neumann University senior guard T.J. Lewis (Parkesburg, Pa.), Pratt Institute sophomore guard Cameron Windt (Winter Springs, Fla.), Marymount University sophomore guard Reuben McEachern (Richmond, Va.), and Marywood University senior guard Brendan Franko (Wantagh, N.J.).

Gwynedd Mercy University (13-2, 2-1) eased past the University of Valley Forge (6-8) in Monday night's 94-48 final as dominant ratios in rebounds (49-39), turnovers (11-23), and a 27.6% (16-of-58) Patriot shooting percentage precipitated the lopsided score. Harris hit 8-of-9 (.889) from the floor - including 5-of-6 (.833) from three-point range - in his first start for the Red and Gold; he headlined four Griffins in double figures with a career-high 21 points and also recorded six rebounds, an assist, and a steal.

An unprecedented unbeaten streak came to an end on Wednesday, January 15, as Gwynedd Mercy University fell on the short side of tonight's 78-72 AEC final with Marymount University (9-6, 3-0). Despite a 34-29 Griffin rebounding advantage, the Saints' first-half shooting - 6-of-13 (.462) from three-point range - was enough to earn the visitors a 34-27 halftime advantage and their 11-of-14 (.786) second-half free throw clip was enough to deny any Red and Gold reprise. Harris finished with seven points, a rebound, and a steal.

Harris was also 4-of-6 (.667) from long range in an 81-54 loss at Salisbury University (13-5). The Sea Gulls built on a 35-25 halftime advantage with a 46-29 second-half spread that saw the Griffin offense stall behind 15 turnovers, a 37.5% (21-of-56) performance from the field, and just four chances at the free throw line (3-of-4, .750); sophomore guard Mazen Sayed (Chichester, Pa.) hit all three of those free throws while coming off the Red and Gold bench for a team-high 15 points. Harris finished with 14 points, a rebound, and an assist.

Gwynedd Mercy University continues their AEC schedule on Wednesday, January 22, when they host Centenary University (N.J.) for an 8:00 p.m. tip-off.
