Jocelyn Baumeister (Willow Grove, Pa.) remained on the
Atlantic East Conference (AEC) Softball Weekly Honor Report for a fourth straight week as she collected her third Honor Roll recognition following a complete-game victory and a three-hit, three-RBI (runs-batted-in), performance the Griffins’ 7-0 game-two league win over Centenary University (Apr. 13). She finished the week 4-for-10 at the plate with two runs and four RBI.

Baumeister earned her fifth win of the season (5-3) and first by shutout fashion with a four strikeout performance in a 7-0, game-two final versus AEC rival Centenary University (NJ) (18-5, 7-1). The victory earned Gwynedd Mercy University a split with the Cylcones as the home team won the first game of the doubleheader by a 6-4 final. Baumeister (1-for-4) was one of four Griffins to record a hit in the opener and the only one to knock in a run. She knocked in three runs with a team-high three hits (3-for-3), while holding Centenary University to six hits and a walk in game two.
