Nikki Williams (Cinnaminson, N.J.) was named to the Atlantic East Conference (AEC) Field Hockey Weekly Honor Roll after totaling eight saves in a 1-1 week versus Cedar Crest College (W, 1-0 on Sept. 17) and Ramapo College (L, 2-3 on Sept. 20).
Williams as joined on the AEC Field Hockey Weekly Honor Roll by Manhattanville College junior goalkeeper Hannah Doherty (Clarkstown, N.Y.), as well as Marywood University senior forward/midfielder Dariane Jones (Factoryville, Pa.) and fifth-year defender Liv Rosengrant (Dalton, Pa.). The Valiants' junior forward Shannon Kenna (Pearl River, N.Y.) was recognized as the AEC Field Hockey Player of the Week, while the AEC Field Hockey Defensive Player of the Week award went to Immaculata University freshman goalkeeper Mackenzie Schrack (Red Lion, Pa.).

Gwynedd Mercy University concluded their seven-game opening home-stand on Saturday September 20, with a noon (12:00 p.m.) Morgan's Message Game against Ramapo College (2-4). The Griffins got on the scoreboard first with a connection between Reed and freshman forward
Gianna Radcliffe (Harleysville, Pa.); 1-0 (0:43). The Roadrunners evened the score in the 13th-minute (1-1, 12:18), but the Red and Gold gained an edge in the 17th minute (2-1, 16:38) as Uttenreither retired a feed from junior midfielder
Morgan Hoban (Cinnaminson, N.J). Unfortunately, the visitors scored twice (44:58, 54:33) in the second half to defeat Gwynedd Mercy University by a single score; 3-2. Radcliffe led Gwynedd Mercy University with six shots, while Williams made six saves in the loss (1-2).
Gwynedd Mercy University hits the road on Wednesday, September 24, when they visit Moravian University for a 7:00 p.m. contest.
