Aston, Pa.- (10/22/25)- Gwynedd Mercy University (2-12, 0-2) traveled to battle Neumann University (9-6, 2-1) this afternoon, losing an Atlantic East Conference (AEC) contest 3-1. The first quarter was deadlocked and it wasn't until the second where the Knights were the first to strike [1-0, 3:59 Q2]. Neumann came in hot at the beginning of the second half with two quick goals [3:31, 4:34 Q3]. Though the Griffins had opportunities to convert shots to goals, the sole goal for the Red and Gold was freshman midfielder Rhyan Poole (North Wales, Pa.) [11:24 Q3]. Gwynedd Mercy had seven shots in the fourth quarter of the goal but they were unable to get the ball in the back of the goal.

The Red and Gold had their most shots in a game since September 20 with 14 total, nine of which were on-goal. The Griffin forwards were busy throughout the game, with freshman Gianna Radcliffe (Harleysville, Pa.) and senior Mackenzie Reed (Philadelphia, Pa.) with four shots on goal each.
The Griffins next play on Saturday, October 25, when they host the Mighty Macs of Immaculata University for a 12:00 p.m. AEC/Senior Day affair.
