Purchase, N.Y.- (10/29/25)-  Gwynedd Mercy University (2-14, 0-4) battled Manhattanville University (6-11, 1-3) this evening, losing 1-3 and bringing the Griffins' season to a close.  The first quarter of play was busy for the Griffins' defense as the Valiants shot four times.  Morgan Hoban (Cinnaminson, N.J.) opened the scoring [24:24], though Manhattanville quickly scored a goal of their own shortly [27:04].  The Valiants capitalized on increased possession and were able to score twice in the third quarter.  Though the Griffins worked hard throughout the game it wasn't enough to get them into the AEC conference. 

Griffin Highlights: 

• The Griffins had their opportunities but could not put the ball in the goal, outshooting the Valiants 21-15. 

• Freshman forward Gianna Radcliffe (Harleysville, Pa.) led the Griffins with seven shots, while Mackenzie Reed (Philadelphia, Pa.), Abby LePage (Cinnaminson, N.J.), and Morgan Hoban had three shots apiece.  

Gwynedd Mercy finished the 2025 season with a 2-14 record and a 0-4 conference record.
