Lancaster, Pa. – (5/14/2025) – Honoring the league's top regular-season performers, Interim Commissioner Rebecca Mullen, has officially released the members of the
2025 All-Atlantic East Conference (AEC) Softball Team and major award winners. Fifth-years, pitcher/second baseman
Jocelyn Baumeister (Willow Grove, Pa.) and utility
Shylynn Cordero (Allentown, Pa.), as well as

sophomore middle infielder
Avery Schwartz (Collegeville, Pa.) repeated on the all-league squad; the first garnered All-AEC First Team honors, while the second and third were named All-AEC Second Team.
The recently crowned AEC Champions, Marymount University were void from major awards. Marywood University junior third baseman/shortstop Tori Para (Inkerman, Pa.) and freshman pitcher/outfielder Brianna Voyer (Mineola, N.Y) were respectively named the 2025 AEC Softball Player and Rookie of the Year. Neumann University graduate pitcher/utility Marina Castello (Swedesboro, N.J.) was named the 2025 AEC Softball Pitcher of the Year, while Immaculata University provided the 2025 AEC Softball Elite 20 winner – sophomore utility Lily Hagan (Egg Harbor Township, N.J.) – and the 2025 AEC Softball Coaching Staff of the Year in Head Coach Stefanie Feinstein and her assistants; Stephen Elinski and Kaitlyn Delaney.
Coach Feinstein and her staff directed the Might Macs to a 16-24 overall record and a 5-5 league standing that ranked Immaculata University as the #3 seed for

the 2025 AEC Softball Championship Tournament.
In addition to her fine field work, Para is Top-10 in nearly every AEC offensive statistical category. Most notably, she led the league in batting (1
st, .480; 61-for-127) and doubles (1
st, 23) for the league's fifth best run total (5
th, 34) and a share of the league's second best runs-batted-in (RBI) total (T2
nd, 42). Para also sported a 1.251 on-base plus slugging (OPS) that ranked her third among her AEC peers.
Costello went 3-6, but offered the league's best earned run average (ERA) with a 2.58 (1
st). She totaled 78.2 innings in 11 starts; she went the distance in seven of them and threw a one as a shutout. Costello allowed 29 earned runs on 89 hits and 29 walks. She struck out 70 and hit four batsmen.
Voyer had a stellar debut season for the Pacers; in addition to the league's sixth best on-base percentage (6
th, .463 OBP) the Marywood University freshman

also went 10-9 with a save as a pitcher. She held opponents to 59 earned runs on 177 hits and 32 walks, while striking out 53 and hitting four batsmen over 126.1 innings.
Baumeister pieced together outstanding season in her final year of eligibility as she led the league in complete games (1
st , 15 CG), while ranking second in ERA (2
nd, 2.68), strikeouts (2
nd, 115), and batting average against (2
nd, .229 BAA). She also ranked among the AEC Top-10 in wins (3
rd, 9) and innings pitched (4
th, 112.2 IP). Offensively, Baumeister was equally effective with career-highs in AVG (.387; 36-for-93), SLG (.484), hits (36), triples (2), and RBI (24).
Cordero was the everyday centerfielder for the Griffins. She finished her season with a .343 (37-for-108)/.459/.370 slash line and was AEC Top-10 in the conference in runs (9
th, 26), walks (5
th, 16), and OBP (5
th, .469). Similarly, Schwartz was a regular starter at second base; she offered a .330 (31-for-94)/.370/.436 slash line and was AEC Top-10 in triples (T7
th, 3).
