Gwynedd Valley, Pa. – (8/5/2026) – With the 2026-2027 academic year quickly approaching, Eastern Athletic Communications Association (EAST-COMM) has officially recognized the members of the 2025-2026 Academic Honor Rolls. Gwynedd Mercy University placed 89 student-athlete on the honor rolls, which recognized a total of 7,466 student-athletes over 42 intercollegiate sports and 51 institutions. The EAST-COMM Academic Honor Rolls celebrate student-athletes, sophomore and beyond, who have maintained at least a 3.4 cumulative grade point average (GPA) while using a season of National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) eligibility.
 
Gwynedd Mercy University's 89 student-athletes recognized on the 2025-2026 EAST-COMM Academic Honor Rolls is three more than their 2024-2025 total of 86. 16 of 18 Red and Gold intercollegiate athletic programs were represented, including…FALL (36): men's cross country (1), field hockey (4), men's soccer (13), women's soccer (13), women's volleyball (5), WINTER (9): men's basketball (2), women's basketball (7), SPRING (44): baseball (15), cheerleading (3), men's lacrosse (9), women's lacrosse (6), softball (7), men's indoor/outdoor track and field (2), and women's indoor/outdoor track and field (2).
 
EAST-COMM's mission is to provide affordable, high-level professional development, educational opportunities, and networking for its members by providing an avenue for growth as strategic communicators in collegiate athletics. The organization's primary method of delivering on its mission comes via hosting an annual workshop located in the Northeastern part of the United States.
