FRESHMAN (2025) - Gainey (12gp-2gs/12app-2gs) was a key contributor to the Griffins pitching rotation his freshman season. He finished with 28.2 innings pitched with an 8.48 earned run average (ERA). Gainey secured 15 strikeouts while walking 13 and had a record of 1-1. Gainey's first collegiate career start came on March 11 against Bethany College where he went 3.2 innings and recorded a season high four strikeouts in the contest.

SOPHOMORE (2026) - Ganey (14gp-5gs/14app-5gs) saw a major improvement from his freshman season, including a career-low in ERA (6.21) and career-highs in wins (4), saves (1), innings pitched (37.2), strikeouts (22), and batting average against (.329). Ganey recorded his first save on February 21 against Notre Dame of Maryland University. Ganey also garnered his first Atlantic East Conference (AEC) Weekly Honor Roll recognition on March 23.
