Red and Gold Places Six on 2026 CSC NCAA DIII Women’s At-Large Academic All-District Team

2026 College Sports Communicators (CSC) National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division III Women’s At-Large Academic All-District Team: Morgan Hoban (FH.), Brianna Godwin (WLAX), Rebecca Gordon (WLAX), Emma Hastings (WLAX), Teagan O’Neill (WLAX), and Victoria Sloan (WLAX)
Greenwood, Ind. – (6/16/2026) – Gwynedd Mercy University junior midfielder Morgan Hoban (Cinnaminson, N.J.) of the field hockey team, as well as senior attack Brianna Godwin (Telford, Pa.), junior midfielder Rebecca Gordon (Sicklerville, N.J.), sophomore defender/midfielder Emma Hastings (Collingswood, N.J.), junior defender Teagan O'Neill (Pennsauken, N.J.), and senior goalkeeper Victoria Sloan (Philadelphia, Pa.) of the women's lacrosse team were recognized as some of the Nation's top student-athletes with their selection to the 2026 College Sports Communicators (CSC) National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division III Women's At-Large Academic All-District Team (.PDF). The CSC Academic All-District teams recognize the Nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom. In order to be nominated, a student-athlete must be at least a sophomore academically and athletically and maintained at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average (on a 4.0 scale) while competing in 90 percent of the institution's matches played or must start in at least 66 percent of the institution's contests.
 
Hoban (16 games played – 16 games started) served as the Griffins' inputter on most penalty corners and finished the season with four points (1 goal, 2 assists) and 17 shots (7-on goal).
 
The early education & special education major was a member of the 2025 CSC NCAA DIII Women's At-Large Academic All-District Team. She also garnered recognition on the 2024-2025 Eastern Athletic Communications Association (EAST-COMM) Fall Academic Honor Roll and the 2024 National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) DIII Academic Honor Squad Member. Hoban is a two-time member of the Gwynedd Mercy University Athletics Academic Elite (Spring 2025, Fall 2025) and a two-time member of the Atlantic East Conference (AEC) All-Academic Team (2023-2024, 2024-2025).
 
Godwin (14gp-12gs) took on a starting role on attack as she made a dozen (12) starts in 14 contests. She recorded her first career assist on the opening goal (1-0; 9:55, 1QTR) at Eastern University (Mar. 6). Godwin finished the season with career-highs in assists (3), points (3), and ground balls (8); she totaled six shots and also caused a turnover.
 
Godwin was inducted to Chi Alpha Sigma; the National College Athlete Honor Society in 2026. She was recognized on the 2024-2025 EAST-COMM Spring Academic Honor Roll and the 2024-2025 Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) Academic Honor Roll. The early education & special education major is a six-time member of the Gwynedd Mercy University Athletics Academic Elite (Fall 2022, Spring 2023, Fall 2023, Spring 2024, Fall 2024, Spring 2025) and a three-time member of the AEC All-Academic Team (2022-2023, 2023-2024, 2024-2025). Godwin also served as a 2025-2026 Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) Team Representative.
 
Gordon (15gp-15gs) justified her captaincy with 47 points (30 goals, 17 assists) and she also made major strides in her defensive game with career-highs in groundballs (24) and caused turnovers (22). She recorded the game-winning goal in victories over King's College (Pa.) (8-4; 7:51, 2QTR) and Centenary University (N.J.) (Mar. 28) (5-1; 14:31, 2QTR) and she recorded the 100th point of her collegiate career with the assist on third-quarter Colliluori goal (13-4, 7:02 3QTR) at Alvernia University (Mar. 25).
 
Academically, the marketing major minors in digital communications. A member of the Gwynedd Mercy University women's soccer team, she was recognized on the 2025 CSC NCAA DIII Women's Soccer Academic All-District Team and the 2024-2025 CSC NCAA DIII At-Large Academic All-District Team. She was also listed on both the 2024-2025 EAST-COMM Fall and Spring Academic Honor Rolls. Gordon is a four-time member of the Gwynedd Mercy University Athletic Academic Elite (Spring 2024, Fall 2024, Spring 2025, Fall 2025) and a two-time member of the AEC All-Academic Team (2023-2024, 2024-2025).
 
Hastings (15gp-15gs) was a regular in the midfield, starting in all 15 contests. She finished the season with career-highs in all major categories; goals (2), points (2), shots (6), ground balls (14), and caused turnovers (12).
 
Like Gordon, Hastings is a two-sport student-athlete. The early education & special education major was a member of the 2025 CSC NCAA DIII Women's Volleyball Academic All-District Team. She is a three-time a member of the Gwynedd Mercy University Athletic Academic Elite (Fall 2024, Spring 2025, Fall 2025) and a member of the 2024-2025 AEC All-Academic Team.
 
For a second straight season, O'Neill (13gp-13gs) supported her team captaincy with an All-AEC Second Team selection. She finished the season with two shots, two draw controls, 19 ground balls, and 22 caused turnovers.
 
The psychology major served as a 2025-2026 SAAC Team Representative. She is a five-time member of the Gwynedd Mercy University Athletic Academic Elite (Fall 2024, Spring 2025, Fall 2025) and a two-time member of the AEC All-Academic Team (2023-2024, 2024-2025).
 
Sloan started all 15 contests in the net for the Red and Gold and owned a 2-13 record. She totaled 900:00 minutes between the pipes and finished the season with a career-high 108 saves on a .303 save percentage (SV%) and a 16:53 goals-against average (GAA). Sloan recorded the 200th save of her collegiate career with her second save against Delaware Valley University (Mar. 23).
 
The finance major was inducted to Chi Alpha Sigma in 2026. She is a four-time member of the Gwynedd Mercy University Athletic Academic Elite (Fall 2023, Fall 2024, Spring 2025, Fall 2025) and a two-time member of the AEC All-Academic Team (2023-2024, 2024-2025)
 
The Academic All-America program is conducted by the members of the CSC and separately recognizes soccer honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA. Academic All-District honorees advance to the CSC Academic All-America ballot. First, Second, and Third Team Academic All-America honorees for the at-large programs will be announced on July 7 (women) and 8 (men), 2026.
