Lancaster, Pa. – (1/12/2026) – Gwynedd Mercy University senior forward
Erin Eisenhart (Bethlehem, Pa.) returned to the
Atlantic East Conference (AEC) Women's Basketball Weekly Report with this today's Weekly Honor Roll selection. The Griffin captain averaged 11.5 points, 11.0 rebounds, 3.0 assists, 1.0 blocks, and 3.0 steals per game in a 1-1 week versus league rivals Pratt Institute (W, 65-47 on Jan. 7) and Immaculata University (L, 61-90 on Jan. 10).
In addition to Eisenhart, the AEC Women's Basketball Weekly Honor Roll included Immaculata University junior center Meg Robbins (Collegeville, Pa.), Marymount University sophomore guard Kaylah Barr (New York, N.Y.), Marywood University senior guard Megan Cavoli (Harrisburg, Pa.), Neumann University fifth-year forward Emily DuPont (Malvern, Pa.), and Pratt Institute sophomore forward Anabela Jakelic (Zagreb, Croatia).
Gwynedd Mercy University (4-9, 1-1) opened AEC play in emphatic fashion on Wednesday afternoon, pulling away in the fourth quarter for a 65–47 road victory over Pratt Institute (1-8, 0-1). The Griffins used a dominant closing stretch, fast-break execution, and standout performances from their veteran core to secure the conference-opening win. Junior guard
Alyssa Cresto (Newark, Del.) delivered a stellar all-around performance, pouring in a game and season-high 26 points on 10-of-22 (45%) shooting, including four three-pointers. Eisenhart (Bethlehem, Pa.) recorded her second double-double of the season – 16 points, 13 rebounds – and paired it with three assists, two blocks, and three steals.
On Saturday, a slow start was the Griffins undoing as the defending AEC Champions, Immaculata University (10-3, 2-0), used a 30-15 first-quarter run to precipitate an eventual 90-61 conclusion. Two Griffins finished in double figures, while Eisenhart chipped in with seven points, nine rebounds, three assists, and three steals.
Gwynedd Mercy University returns to conference play at the Griffin Complex on Wednesday, January 14, when the team welcomes Marywood University for a 5:00 p.m. tip-off.
