Lancaster, Pa. – (5/1/2023) – Gwynedd Mercy University junior Branden Soubik (Lansdale, Pa.) earned his third appearance – and second straight - on the Atlantic East Conference (AEC) Men's Track and Field Weekly Honor Roll with his performance at Elizabethtown College's Blue Jay Tune Up (Apr. 28 & 29). Soubik scored 14 of Gwynedd Mercy University's 17 points in a 10th-place (10th of 15) with a first-place finish (1st, 51.14, 10 points) in the 400-Meter and a fifth-place finish (5th, 23.03, 4 points) in the 200-Meter.
 
The other three Griffin points came courtesy of an eighth-place finish (8th, 1:11.95, 1 point) in the 400-Meter Hurdles from junior Melvin Mathew (North Wales, Pa.) and a seventh-place finish (7th, 21.28, PR, 2 points) in the Hammer from freshman Alex Pauling (Philadelphia, Pa.); the latter offered Personal Records in the Hammer and Javelin (16th, 17.71, PR).
 
Gwynedd Mercy University competes next on Friday, May 5, when they visit Immaculata University for the Atlantic East Conference (AEC) Championship Meet.
