Lancaster, Pa. – (4/13/2026) – Gwynedd Mercy University freshman
Conner Brennan (Hatboro, Pa.) and sophomore
Tyson Scheitrum (Harrisburg, Pa.) were recognized on the
Atlantic East Conference (AEC) Men's Track and Field Weekly Honor Roll for their record performances at Rowan University's Oscar Moore Invitational (Apr. 11). The Griffins congratulated Brennan on University record in the 3,000-Meter (2nd, 9:56.15) as well as a 14
th-place finish in the 1,500-Meter (14
th, 4:29.52). Meanwhile, Scheitrum continued his rewrite of the Griffin record books with his record Hammer distance of 44.01 (2
nd) meters. He also placed sixth in Discus (6
th, 38.19) and seventh in Shot Put (7
th, 10.50).
Brennan and Scheitrum were joined on the AEC Men's Track and Field Weekly Honor Roll by Immaculata University freshman Colin Corkery (Haverford, Pa.), Marywood University seniors Shilo Bivins (Hanover, Pa.) and Joseph Cardillo (Dunmore, Pa.), Neumann University sophomore Bryan Castro (Pottstown, Pa.), as well as Saint Elizabeth University seniors Jordan Lomax (Browns Mills, N.J.) and Sayfullah Carter (Newark, N.J.). Marymount University freshman Jaythan Dumas (Dumfries, Va.) and senior Samuel Struggs (Sugarland, Texas) were respectively recognized as the AEC Men's Track and Field Athletes of the Week.
Gwynedd Mercy University continues their schedule on Saturday, April 18, when the Red and Gold competes in the Millersville University Invitational. The event is scheduled for 9:30 a.m.
