Immaculata, Pa. - (5/3/2026) - Gwynedd Mercy University joined their league rivals at Draper Walsh Stadium for the 2026 Atlantic East Conference (AEC) Men's Track and Field Championships. The Griffins pointed in the 10,000-Meter, Shot Put, and Hammer to score 20 points and rest fourth in a five-team field (4th of 5, 20 points); freshman Conner Brennan (Hatboro, Pa.) was responsible for eight points in the distance race with his second place time of 33:48.84, while sophomore Tyson Scheitrum (Harrisburg, Pa.) tallied a dozen (12) points in the throwing events with a fourth-place Hammer (4th, 11.55, 4 points) and a second-place Shot Put (2nd, 43.95, 8 points).

The second day of competition for the 2026 AEC Men's Track and Field Championships is scheduled to begin at 9:45 a.m. on Sunday, May 3.
