their performances at last weekend's Atlantic East Conference (AEC) Men's Track and Field Championships (May 2-3) with the release of the 2026 All-AEC Men's Track and Field Team. Marywood University senior Joseph Cardillo (Dunmore, Pa.) was named the 2026 AEC Men's Track Athlete of the Year, while Immaculata University freshman Colin Corkery (Haverford, Pa.) was named both the 2026 AEC Field Athlete – and – Rookie of the Year. Honoring the student-athlete with the highest cumulative grade point average (GPA) competing at the finals site, the Elite Scholar Athlete Award went to Marymount University senior Samuel Struggs (Sugar Land, Texas). His coaches; Head Coach Kameron Blanding, Assistant Coach Kahil Easy and Assistant Coach Max McNeil were honored as the AEC Men's Track and Field Coaching Staff of the Year. The Saints finished first (1^st of 6, 188 total points) at the AEC Men's Track and Field Championship.

The All-AEC Track and Field Team is determined by finishes at the league's championship meet, while the major award winners were nominated by their coaches, and voted upon, based on their performances at the championship meet.

Cardillo totaled 30 points for the Pacers with his first-place finishes in the 1,500-Meter (1^st, 4:17.52, 10 points), 5,000-Meter (1^st, 16:03.93, 10 points), and 10,000-Meter (1^st, 33:33.75, 10 points). Meanwhile, Corkery produced 26 points for the Mighty Macs with his finishes in the Discus (3^rd, 37.27, 6 points), Hammer (1^st, 44.60, 10 points), and Shot Put (1^st, 13.08, 10 points). He also placed ninth (30.80) in the Javelin.

Brennan was responsible for 16 points for the Griffins in the distance races as he placed second in both the 5,000-Meter (2^nd, 16.18.99, 8 points) and the 10,000-Meter (2^nd, 33:48.84, 8 points). He also teamed with sophomore Jamar Gauda (Delran, N.J.), as well as juniors Christian Lynn (Philadelphia, Pa.) and Mel Velasquez (Philadelphia, Pa.) for a sixth-place finish (6th, 4:14.20, 1 point) in the 4x400-Meter Relay.

Similarly, Gauda earned eight points for the Red and Gold with a second-place performance in the Triple Jump (2^nd, 12.75, 8 points). He also finished in the 400-Meter (4^th, 52.32, 4 points) and Long Jump (8^th, 6.23).

2026 All-AEC Men's Track and Field: Dasmen Williams (2nd Team - Discus)

Scheitrum (1st, 38.60, 10 points) and Williams (2nd, 37.30, 8 points) combined to earned Gwynedd Mercy University 18 points in the Discus. Scheitrum also garnered an All-AEC Second Team laurel with a second-place finish (2^nd, 43.95, 8 points) in the Hammer. He finished the meet with 22 points as he scored four points with a fourth-place finish (4^th, 11.55, 4 points) in the Shot Put.
