Doubles partners Ian Gordynskiy / Melvin Mathew and Christian Rice / Gustavo Bilbao battled hard, but couldn't take down the Highlanders.
 
Cairn also swept Gwynedd (0-1) at singles, as Mathew fell at No. 1 (0-6, 1-6) and Gordynskiy at No. 2 singles (0-6, 2-6). No. 3 singles, Christian Rice forced his opponent to a tiebreaker, but ultimately fell during the third set (0-6, 7-5 (3-10)). Gustavo Bilbao get the No. 4 singles on their toes winning four games in the first set and three in the second. Josh Reimel was defeated 0-6, 0-6 in No. 5 singles while Cairn also won by forfeit in the No. 6 slot.

The Griffs will be back in action on Saturday, October 2nd when they host Albright College.
