Immaculata, Pa. - (4/12/2022) - A busy Atlantic East Conference (AEC) schedule continued today for Gwynedd Mercy University (0-9, 0-3), who visited Immaculata University (2-9, 2-1) for this afternoon's league match. The Mighty Macs got a head start with a Griffin default at number three doubles and added to their lead with an 8-1 win at number one doubles and an 8-6 win at number three doubles, 3-0; graduate Justin Collins (Springfield, Pa.) and sophomore Ian Gordynskiy (Quakertown, Pa.) battled to the tighter match in the third flight. In singles play, Immaculata University clinched the match with Griffin defaults in the fifth and sixth flights; 5-0. Afterwards, the Mighty Mac advantage expanded to 7-0 before the match concluded with Bilbao winning number four singles, 7-5, 6-2, and Collins winning number three singles, 6-0, 6-3.

Gwynedd Mercy University faces their next AEC opponent on Monday, April 18, when they visit Neumann University for a 3:30 p.m. match.
