Aston, Pa. - (4/22/2022) - Gwynedd Mercy University (0-11, 0-5) concluded their 2021-2022 schedule with today's 8-1 loss at Neumann University (6-2, 4-1). The Knights took number three doubles by default and advanced their early lead to 3-0 with follow up wins in the first (8-0) and third (8-3) team flights. In singles, an injury retirement victory in the favor of freshman Gustavo Bilbao (Madrid, Spain) broke up the Neumann University shutout in an eventual 8-1 final. After a default win at number six singles, the Knights added individual wins in the first (6-0, 6-1), second (6-1, 6-1), fourth (7-5, 6-3), and third (3-6, 6-0, 10-6) individual flights.

Gwynedd Mercy University concludes their 2021-2022 season with an 0-11 overall record and a 0-5 standing in the AEC.
