RADNOR, PA. -- Gwynedd Mercy was dealt a 7-2 setback at Cabrini on Wednesday in a Colonial States Athletic Conference men's tennis match.

With two conference matches remaining, the Griffins (2-5, 2-3 CSAC) need to win both to qualify for the CSAC Team Tournament later this month. The defending champs need to defeat Marywood tomorrow and Neumann next week.

About the match, captain Nick Czibik fought valiantly at #1 singles against one of the best players in the league with every single game except one, going to deuce, the equivalent of overtime in other sports.

The team will host Marywood tomorrow at 3:30 p.m. in an important conference match.
