ROSEMONT, PA. -- The defending CSAC Champion Gwynedd Mercy defeated Rosemont, 9-0, without a player dropping a set.

All of the Griffins would take their matches convincingly. Coach Holt expressed his pleasure with both sophomore Amanda Gentry and rookie Jenna Trythall:  "While our team took some big losses in losing Taylor (Michener) and Jenna (Caffarello) due to graduation, we needed some depth and it looks like Gentry and Trythall are both contributing immeasurably".

Gwynedd Mercy (2-0, 2-0 CSAC) heads to Scranton on Friday to tackle Marywood in a rematch of last season's conference team championship in which the Griffins were successful.
