Brandon Rodriguez, as the Griffins punched their playoff berth with a 9-0 win over Keystone on Wednesday.
The team has targets on their backs since last season's championship team and the pre-season expectations set by the league this season puts a ton of pressure on them. There are several solid teams in contention this year and things are wide open as to who prevails in our conference. "It really hit me hard that today was Senior Day and that I am losing almost all of my line-up. These guys are all players that I had tight relationships with and some we had to buy into our system. It is saddening.....these guys I have molded over their tenure....again, we are such a close team that the coaching staff generally knew what made these guys click," stated head coach

Brzeznski, the fearless team captain during his entire tenure and one of the top players in conference history, drew upon Coach Holt's energy and humor. The two instantly clicked and produced dominate teams in CSAC Conference history the past seasons. Holt smartly recruited Rodriguez, Grisak, Channick, and lately helped make point guard conversion Carson into a top-gun in the conference. "The team played well today, but we have only one goal".Â
The Griffins (7-3, 5-0 CSAC) will look to extend their win streak to six matches when they play at Neumann on Friday.Â
