Griffins Wrap Up Regular Season On Senior Day

GWYNEDD VALLEY, PA. -- The Griffins honored their two seniors, then went out and defeated Clarks Summit, 9-0, to conclude the regular season on Saturday.

Prior to the match, seniors Kristen Kriebel and Nicole Picciolo were honored by the team and coaching staff in a pre-match ceremony.

Gwynedd Mercy, who had clinched the top seed in next weekend's CSAC Team Tournament, will now turn their attention to their semifinal opponent, fourth-seeded Cabrini, who they'll face on Friday at 9:30 a.m. in the first semifinal match at the Legacy Tennis Center Indoor Tennis Courts in Philadelphia. The other semifinal will feature third-seeded Immaculata taking on second-seeded Marywood. Friday's winners will meet on Saturday at 6:30 p.m. to decide the title.
