PHILADELPHIA -- Gwynedd Mercy defeated Cabrini, 9-0, in a semifinal match of the 2015 CSAC Team Tournament Friday morning at the Legacy Tennis Center. The defending champion Griffins (16-1) move on to final tomorrow at 4:30 to face Marywood, who rallied to outlast Immaculata in a five-hour thriller, 5-4.

GM took all three doubles matches to go up 3-0 in the best-of-nine format where the first team to five wins claims the match. A pair of freshmen would help secure the match at singles. Katie Garthaus, the 2015 CSAC Player and Rookie of the Year, won 6-0, 6-3 at #2 singles for the fourth point and Natalie Danze took a 6-1, 6-1 victory at #4 to end it.

This is the 10th year in a row the Griffins will appear in the conference championship.
