HAVERFORD, PA. -- Haverford handed Gwynedd-Mercy a 3-1 defeat on the final day of the Jimmy Mills Classic on Sunday sending the Griffins to their fourth loss in a row.

GM trailed 2-0 at halftime but a goal from sophomore Dan Panepresso (Philadelphia, Pa./Archbishop Ryan) in the 52nd minute cut the deficit in half.

The Fords answered just under three minutes later, converting on a penalty kick.

Gwynedd (1-4) was outshot, 21-7, and had just two corner kicks to Haverford's 15.

The Griffins look to put a stop to their skid when they host Dickinson on Wednesday beginning at 8 p.m.
