Griffin Highlights
- Despite a 15-3 first-half shot deficit, Gwynedd Mercy University kept the contest scoreless thanks to coordinated defense from graduate Matt Edwards (Bensalem Pa.), senior Colin Stocklin (Philadelphia, Pa.), junior Tony Mendoza (King of Prussia, Pa.), and sophomore Dominic Lodise (Bensalem, Pa.). The effort was supported by three saves from Roberto.
- In the second half, Neumann University's upper hand proved to be too much as a 26-8 shot advantage precipitated Knight scores in the 61st (2-0, 60:59) and 83rd (3-0, 82:32) minutes.
- Kehan's put two shots on goal in the second half, but junior midfielder Luke O'Donnell (Glenside, Pa.) (2:31, 1st), junior forward Mel Velasquez (Philadelphia, Pa.) (1) (10:55, 1st) and Mendoza (1) (4:53, 1st) gave the Griffins chances to score in the first half.
Gwynedd Mercy University finishes the 2025 season with an 8-11 overall record and a 3-4 standing in the AEC.
