HAVERFORD, PA. -- Three unanswered goals by Randolph College proved to be the difference as Gwynedd-Mercy dropped a 3-1 decsision at the Jimmy Mills Tournament at Haverford on Saturday.

The Griffins (1-3) got on the board in the 8th minute when sophomore Dan Panepresso (Philadelphia, Pa./Archbishop Ryan) netted an unassisted tally for a 1-0 lead.

Randolph (4-1) answered with goals in the 21st and 37th minute to take 2-1 halftime lead as the Wildcats outshot GM 16-1 in the first stanza.

Gwynedd managed just three shots in the second half compared to Randolph's 15. A score in th 72nd minute gave the Wildcats an insurance goal.

Senior goalie Mike Leonard (Glen Mills, Pa./Cardinal O'Hara) finished with seve saves.

GM will look to get back on track tomorrow when they take on the host Fords at 3:30 p.m.
