Nine-Point Week Earns Kish AEC Men’s Lacrosse Honor Roll Recognition

Ian Kish (Easton, Pa.) totaled nine points (8 goals, assist) and three ground balls in a 1-1 week versus Messiah University (L, 9-24 on Mar. 22) and Bryn Athyn College (W, 17-6 on Mar. 25). The two-game effort earned him his first career appearance on the
Atlantic East Conference (AEC) Weekly Honor Roll.

Gwynedd Mercy University (2-6) had trouble slowing the Messiah University (7-2) offense in Wednesday's contest as the Falcons used a 14-4 halftime advantage to forge an eventual 24-9 victory. The Griffins put 15 of their 27 shots on goal and successfully cleared the ball on 19-of-28 (.679) attempts, while totaling 21 ground balls and causing four Messiah University turnovers. Kish scored three goals (5:34 2QTR, 10:30 4QTR, 3:10 4QTR) on eight shots and recovered a ground ball to lead the Gwynedd Mercy University effort.
Gwynedd Mercy University delivered Bryn Athyn College (2-1) their first loss of the season in overwhelming fashion as a six-point (5 goals, 1 assist) day from Kish propelled the Griffins to a 17-6 overrun of the Lions. Nine different Griffins recorded at least one score, while goalkeepers

Grady Mumm (Forest Hill, Md.) (7:22) provided solid play behind a strong defensive effort. Gwynedd Mercy University out shot Bryn Athyn College 54-20 and was successful on 18-of-25 (.720) of their clear attempts, while totaling 45 ground balls and causing 13 Bryn Athyn College turnovers. Kish needed a dozen (12) shots to score a career-high five goals (11:56 1QTR, 14:00 2QTR, 13:26 3QTR, 2:45 3QTR, 10:07 4QTR). He also recovered two ground balls.
Gwynedd Mercy University returns to action on Wednesday, March 29, when they visit Susquehanna University for a 4:00 p.m.
