Lancaster, Pa. – (4/27/2026) – Gwynedd Mercy University freshman Landon Glovas (Nazareth, Pa.) was named to the Atlantic East Conference (AEC) Baseball Weekly Honor Roll for his near no-hitter in a 13-0, seven-inning win versus Rosemont College (Apr. 26). Glovas was on his mark in the second game of the Griffins' final home doubleheader of the season as he only walked two while recording 20 outs; seven came via the strikeout.
 
Glovas was joined on the AEC Baseball Weekly Honor Roll by junior outfielder Nick Santacross (New Providence, N.J.), Immaculata University senior pitcher/outfielder Thomas DeSarno (Springfield, N.J.), Marymount University senior outfielder Quincy Via (Springfield, Va.), Marywood University sophomore pitcher Noah Trager (Schnecksville, Pa.), Neumann University freshman infielder Jackson Arminger (Forest Hill, Md.), and Saint Elizabeth University junior first baseman/outfielder Chris Valencia (Bayonne, N.J.). The AEC Baseball Player of the Week was Immaculata University sophomore catcher/pitcher Alex Tronsky (Medford, N.J.), while the AEC Baseball Pitcher of the Week was Saint Elizabeth University senior Aidan Folsom (Beachwood, N.J.).
 
Glovas was masterful in his start versus the Ravens as he retired the first 10 batters he faced – five via the strikeout - and only walked two over 6.2 innings on the mound. Meanwhile, his teammates plated 13 runs to complete the doubleheader sweep with a 13-0 win. Glovas finished his third win (3-2) with a season-high seven strikeouts. The Griffins took the first game 11-2.
 
Gwynedd Mercy University concludes their non-conference schedule today, Monday, April 27, with a 3:30 p.m. contest at Lancaster Bible College.
