Gwynedd Valley, Pa. - (4/11/2026) – Gwynedd Mercy University (14-13, 6-6 AEC), welcomed Marywood University (18-10, 6-3 AEC) to Frank O. Genuardi Legends Field, looking to take the series against the Pacers in the doubleheader. The Griffins' starting pitching was lights out in both contests, with sophomore pitcher Dylan Ganey (Langhorne, Pa.) (3-2) working 6.2 innings while allowing just four hits and striking out key hitters to keep the Pacers off balance. Ganey consistently worked out of traffic, stranding runners and limiting damage to preserve the shutout through six. Freshman pitcher Landon Glovas (Nazareth, Pa.) (2-2) in game two, Glovas shoved 8.1 innings while allowing just two earned runs and striking out six. Unfortunately, the Red and Gold's offense only managed eight hits in 17 innings, dropping both games 6-0 and 4-0.
Before the contests, the Red and Gold opened the day by honoring their senior players: outfielder Chris Nodeland (Hamilton, N.J.), outfielder Jon Cimino (Egg Harbor Township, N.J.), pitcher Ryan Kasper (Levittown, Pa.), infielder Jimmy DeCarlo (Ridley Park, Pa.), infielder A.J. Johnson (Hillsborough, N.J.), catcher Mike Storti (Philadelphia, Pa.), infielder Colin Stocklin (Philadelphia, Pa.), pitcher Zachary Freas (Mickleton, N.J.), and pitcher Jack Dugan (Cherry Hill, N.J.).
Griffin Highlights:

- Offensively, Gwynedd Mercy generated opportunities against a deep Marywood pitching staff. Wissman recorded a double, while freshman catcher Jacob Ruddell (Warrington, Pa.) added a single and reached base twice. The Griffins also applied pressure on the bases, with junior outfielder Noah Waldron (Collingswood, N.J.) Noah Waldron swiping a bag and advancing into scoring position during a key fourth-inning threat.
Game Two:

The Griffins generated steady opportunities against the Pacers, finishing with six hits. Junior infielder Jake Vitale (Laurel Springs, N.J.) led the way with two hits, while DeCarlo, Waldron, Wissman, and Ruddell each added a base knock.
