- Gwynedd Mercy University put the first tally on the scoreboard with a man-down goal from Caleb Gaines (Brookhaven, Pa.) (1-0, 7:18); the freshman defenseman cleared the ball on a long pass from sophomore goalkeeper Alexander Guardino (Lumberton, N.J.) and took a couple long strides before firing it to the back of the net.
- Sophomore attack/midfield Ethan Galvan (Brick, N.J.) added the Griffins' second first-quarter scores with an unassisted score at 2:11; 2-0.
- In the second half, Ciran put on a show as he scored a pair of third-quarter goals (4:00, 2:45) to give Gwynedd Mercy University a 6-4 lead and a pair of fourth-quarter goals (8:35, 7:21) to deliver victory.
- Gwynedd Mercy University held a 42-37 shooting edge and a 32-26 ground ball advantage. They were successful on 21-of-28 (.750) of their clear attempts and 8-of-17 (.471) on the face-off.
- Ciran's four scores came with two ground balls.
