Lancaster, Pa. – (3/30/2026) – Gwynedd Mercy University senior midfielder
Kira Bradley (Langhorne, Pa.) continued an impressive season with her second
Atlantic East Conference (AEC) Women's Lacrosse Player of the Week award. The Red and Gold statistical leader helped lead the Griffins to a 1-1 week with her six points (4 goals, 2 assists), seven ground balls, nine draw controls, and nine caused turnovers in a 16-4 league-win over Centenary University (N.J.) (Mar. 28). Earlier in the week, she paired six points (4 goals, 2 assists) with two ground balls, five draw controls, and two caused turnovers in a 18-9 loss at Alvernia University (Mar. 25). Bradley earned her first AEC Defensive Player of the Week title on March 2.
Opposite Bradley, Marywood University senior midfielder Avery Meighan (Floral Park, N.Y.) was named the AEC Women's Lacrosse Player of the Week. The AEC Women's Lacrosse Weekly Honor Roll included Neumann University junior attack/midfielder Alena Catka (Brookhaven, Pa.), Marymount University senior attack Tess Valentino (Baltimore, Md.), as well as Immaculata University junior midfielder Elizabeth Mahmud (Downingtown, Pa.) and junior attack Alexa Marczak (Hatboro, Pa.).
Gwynedd Mercy University (2-9, 1-0) showed resilience and battled through early adversity with a strong second-half performance in Wednesday's 18-9 loss at Alvernia University (2-8). Bradley led the attack while junior midfield
Rebecca Gordon (Sicklerville, N.J.) had a four-point performance with two goals and two assists; she recorded the 100th point of her collegiate career with an assist on third-quarter score (13-4, 7:02 3QTR) from sophomore midfielder
Elena Colliluori (Gilbertsville, Pa.).
Gwynedd Mercy University opened AEC play and celebrated their senior class with a convincing 16-4 victory over Centenary University (N.J.) (4-4, 0-1). The Griffins used the energy from Saturday's pregame ceremony celebrating Bradley, attack
Brianna Godwin (Telford, Pa.), defender
Ayana Lyons (Norristown, Pa.), and goalkeeper
Victoria Sloan (Philadelphia, Pa.) to fuel a Red and Gold victory. Colliluori led the Griffins with nine points (6 goals, 3 assists), two ground balls, a caused turnover, and eight draw controls, but Bradley was equally influential in the triumph.
Gwynedd Mercy University continues AEC play on Wednesday, April 8, when they visit Marywood University for a 4:00 p.m. contest.
