Griffins Conclude Season with AEC Loss to Saints, Bradley Breaks Single-Season Caused Turnover Record

Gwynedd Valley, Pa. - (4/22/2026) - Gwynedd Mercy University (2-13, 1-4) welcomed Marymount University (9-7, 3-2) to the Athletic Complex for the final game of their Atlantic East Conference (AEC) season; the Saints controlled the contest from the opening draw and used a 12-2 halftime spread to precipitate an eventual 23-4 final. Senior midfielder Kira Bradley (Langhorne, Pa.) and junior midfielder Rebecca Gordon (Sicklerville, N.J.) both recorded two goals and an assist. The former took a team-high six shots while recording two ground balls, two draw controls, and four caused turnovers; her fourth caused turnovers brought her season total to 57, one beyond the total Gwynedd Mercy University Athletics Hall of Fame Class of 2023, Meghan Volz '08 recorded in 2005.

  • Gwynedd Mercy University put seven of their 10 shots on goal. They were 0-for-2 on free position attempts.
  • The Red and Gold totaled 10 draw controls. Sophomore midfielder Elena Colliluori (Gilbertsville, Pa.) was responsible for six of them.
  • The Griffins were successful on 9-of-17 (.529) of their clear attempts.
  • Gordon took four shots, and recovered two draw controls in addition to her points.
  • Senior goalkeeper Victoria Sloan (Philadelphia, Pa.) recorded six saves and three ground balls in the loss (2-13).
Gwynedd Mercy University finishes the 2026 season with a 2-13 overall record and a 1-4 standing in the AEC.
