Brianna McFadden (Fairless Hills, Pa.) were recognized as some of the Nation's top student-athletes with their selection to the
2025-2026 College Sports Communicators (CSC) National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division III Women's Basketball Academic All-District Team (
.PDF). The CSC Academic All-District teams recognize the Nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom. In order to be nominated, a student-athlete must be at least a sophomore academically and athletically and maintained at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average (on a 4.0 scale) while competing in 90 percent of the institution's matches played or must start in at least 66 percent of the institution's contests.
Cresto (25 games played – 15 games started) averaged 7.8 points per game (PPG) with a team-high 43 three-point baskets (43-of-146). She also recorded 49 rebounds (2.0/game), 14 assists (0.6.game), and 21 steals (0.8/game). She headlined a 68-53 league win over Pratt Institute (Jan. 7) with a career-high 26 points on 10-of-22 (.455) shooting; the performance included four threes (4-of-13, .308) and came with four rebounds, three assists, and two steals.
This is Cresto's second straight CSC NCAA DIII Women's Basketball Academic All-District Team honor. Academically, the sports management major was a member of the 2024-2025 Atlantic East Conference (AEC) All-Academic Team and Eastern Athletic Communications Association (EAST-COMM) Academic Honor Roll. She is a three-time member of the Gwynedd Mercy University Athletics Academic Elite (Fall 2024, Spring 2025, Fall 2025).
Kanzinger (24gp-9gs) earned a starting spot for the final nine games of the 2025-2026 season as she impressed with 73 points (3.0/game), 53 rebounds (2.2/game), 58 assists (2.4/game), a block (0.04/game), and 33 steals (1.4/game). In a 56-44, February-11 league win over Marymount University, she shinned at point with a career-high 10 assists.
A nursing major, Kanzinger was a member of the Fall 2025 and Spring 2025, Gwynedd Mercy University Athletics Academic Elite. She also garnered a spot on the 2024-2025 AEC All-Academic Team.
McFadden (25gp-1gs) was the only Griffin besides senior forward
Erin Eisenhart (Bethlehem, Pa.) to appear on the AEC Women's Basketball Weekly Report this season as she garnered an Honor Roll (Feb. 2) mention after leading a 33-point bench effort in a 66-52 home win over Pratt Institute (Jan. 31) with 14 points, three rebounds, an assist, and five steals. She finished the season with 178 points (7.1/game), 58 rebounds (2.3/game), 42 assists (1.7/game), two blocks (0.1/game), and 34 steals (1.4/game).
The nursing major was a member of the 2024-2025 AEC All-Academic Team and has appeared on a member of the Gwynedd Mercy University Athletic Academic Elite (Fall 2024, Spring 2025, Fall 2025) for each semester on campus.
The Academic All-America program is conducted by the members of the CSC and separately recognizes soccer honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA. Academic All-District honorees advance to the CSC Academic All-America ballot. First, Second, and Third Team Academic All-America honorees for women's basketball will be announced on April 15, 2026.
