Red and Gold Celebrates Eisenhart with Senior Day Win over Eagles

Gwynedd Valley, Pa. - (2/21/2026) - Led by their senior captain Erin Eisenhart (Bethlehem, Pa.), Gwynedd Mercy University (8-17, 5-9) showed their heart with this afternoon's 75-65 Atlantic East Conference (AEC) victory over Saint Elizabeth University(12-13, 6-8); Eisenhart recorded 14 points, 11 rebounds, two assists, and a steal in her Senior Day performance. The Red and Gold also got a 16-point, 10-rebound double-double from junior guard/forward Rachel Dunn (Lansdale, Pa.), as well as a career-high 19 points from junior forward Azzy Crumpton (Plymouth Meeting, Pa.). Prior to the contest, Gwynedd Mercy University recognized Eisenhart for her contributions to the women's basketball program and the completion of her collegiate career.

Griffin Highlights
  • After a 14-14 (0:37) first quarter, Gwynedd Mercy University paced St. Elizabeth University to a 39-27 (0:10) halftime spread. In the second half, the Griffins almost had the Eagles put away; 55-36 (9:47), before needing keep the Eagles at bay in the final minutes.
  • Gwynedd Mercy University held a 55-39 advantage on the glass. They score 42 points in the paint and 67 points off Eagle turnovers.
  • Dunn added two assists to her double-double.
  • Crumpton almost had a double-double of her own as she paired her double-digit points with nine rebounds. She also recorded an assist and a block.
  • Sophomore guard Alexis Kanzinger (Bala Cynwyd, Pa.) (6 assists) and Brianna McFadden (Fairless Hills, Pa.) (5) kept the ball moving with 11 combined assists.
Gwynedd Mercy University finishes the 2025-2026 season with an 8-17 overall record and a 5-9 standing in the AEC.
