Nick Citrigno (Southampton, Pa.) gave a career performance with six goals in a seven-point (6 goals, 1 assist) night. Fellow senior attacks,
Gunnar Seaman (Worcester, Pa.) (2 goals, 2 assists) and
Josh Devine (Pottstown, Pa.) (3 goals, 1 assist) recorded four points apiece, while sophomore goalkeeper
Alexander Guardino (Lumberton, N.J.) earned his first collegiate victory (1-2) with 10 saves and two ground balls.

- Devine (1-0, 14:04) and Seaman (4-0, 6:48) capped Gwynedd Mercy University's opening run. In between, sophomore midfielder/attack Ethan Galvan (Brick, N.J.) (2-0, 8:13) and sophomore midfielder Colin Vannais (Washington Township, N.J.) (3-0, 7:29) recorded Red and Gold tallies.
- In the second quarter, the Griffins found Citrigno for four (14:28, 4:46, 0:52, 0:27) of his six goals. His last of the frame sent them to halftime with an 11-6 (0:27) advantage.
- Gwynedd Mercy University spread the ball around in the third quarter, while their lone fourth-quarter score (19-8, 3:29) was the first in the career of freshman Caleb Gaines (Brookhaven, Pa.).
- The Griffins out-shot the Lions 53-36 and they were successful on 19-of-22 (.864) clears and won 22-of-29 (.759) face-offs thanks to a 31-20 edge in ground balls.
- Senior face-off Jake Tedeschi (Goshen, N.Y.) was 17-of-21 (.810) in the circle with six ground balls and a caused turnover.
- Gaines complemented his first collegiate goal with four ground balls and a caused turnover.
