Lancaster, Pa. – (4/8/2025) – Gwynedd Mercy University freshmen
Fanta Dukuly (Philadelphia, Pa.) and
Truly Heft (East Greenville, Pa.) were recognized on the Atlantic East Conference (AEC) Women's Track and Field Report as Weekly Honor Roll mentions for their performances at the Muhlenberg College Invitational. Heft made sure that the Red and Gold enjoyed a Top-10 finish in the women's Javelin (10th, 23.01), while Dukuly season's best secured her Top-10 finishes in the 100-Meter (4
th, 12.83) and 200-Meter (2
nd, 26.82). Heft also competed in the Hammer (24
th, 24.43) and Shot Put (12
th, 9.70).
Marywood University senior Rosalyn Page (Coudersport, Pa.) was selected as the AEC Women's Track Athlete of the Week, while her classmate Lany Straub (Shickshinny, Pa.)
was named the AEC Men's Field Athlete of the Week. Dukuly and Heft were joined on the AEC Women's Track and Field Weekly Honor Roll by Neumann University junior Alli Siravo (Blackwood, N.J.).
The Gwynedd Mercy University men's and women's track and field teams continue their outdoor season on Friday, April 11, when they compete at the Messiah University Invitational. Events are scheduled for a 4:00 p.m. start.
