Lancaster, Pa. – (5/9/2025) – Honoring the league's top regular-season performers, Interim Commissioner Rebecca Mullen, has officially released the members of the 2025 All-Atlantic East Conference (AEC) Men's and Women's Track and Field Teams and major award winners. Gwynedd Mercy University senior Victor Cruz (New Castle, Del.) was named the 2025 AEC Men's Track Athlete of the Year for the second consecutive season after earning All-AEC First Team recognition in the 100-Meter (1^st, 11.01, 10 points), 200-Meter (1^st, 22.2, 10), and 400-Meter (1^st, 49.19, 10), as well as contributions to the 4x100-Meter Relay (3^rd, 43.77, 6) and 4x400-Meter Relay (2^nd, 3:33.56, 8) finishes. Griffin newcomers, Tyson Scheitrum (Harrisburg, Pa.) and Fanta Dukuly (Philadelphia, Pa.) were also recognized with major awards as the former was credited as the 2025 AEC Men's Field Athlete of the Year for his impressive throws in the Hammer (1^st, 43.34, 10) and Discus (1^st, 38.06, 10), while the latter garnered the 2025 AEC Women's Track and Field Rookie of the Year honor for her finishes in the 100-Meter (1^st, 12.82, 10 points) and 200-Meter (2^nd, 26.68, 8).
 
In addition to Dukuly's All-AEC performances, Gwynedd Mercy University also celebrated all-league performances from graduate Natalie O'Neill (Philadelphia, Pa.), who earned Second Team honors in the 100-Meter Hurdles (2^nd, 18.10, 8), High Jump (2^nd, 1.40, 8), and 400-Meter Hurdles (2^nd, 1:14.11, 8). Cruz and Scheitrum were joined on the 2025 All-AEC Men's Track and Field roster by graduate Branden Soubik (Lansdale, Pa.), senior Matt Edwards (Bensalem, Pa.) and senior Christion Johnson (Middletown, Del.); the first earned All-AEC Second Team in the 400-Meter Hurdles (2^nd, 1:00.55, 8 points), the second earned All-AEC First Team recognition in the Pole Vault (1^st, 3.00, 10), and the last earned All-AEC Second Team honors in the Shot Put (2^nd, 11.40, 8). The Gwynedd Mercy University men's 4x400-Meter Relay team also earned All-AEC Second Team laurels for their second-place finish (2^nd, 3:33.56, 8); the lineup included senior Mike Marable (Philadelphia, Pa.), freshman Jamar Gauda (Delran, N.J.), Soubik, and Cruz.
 
Marywood University senior Lany Straub (Shickshinny, Pa.) was named the 2025 AEC Women's Track Athlete of the Year, while Pratt Institute sophomore Kaeden Green (Brunswick, Maine) was named as the 2025 AEC Women's Field Athlete of the Year.
 
Marymount University Head Coach Kameron Blanding and his staff – Max McNeil and Kahil Easy – were recognized as the 2025 AEC Women's Track and Field Coaching Staff of the Year, while the AEC Women's Track and Field Elite 20 award went to Marywood University senior Gabby Snee (Olyphant, Pa.).
 
As for the remainder of the men's track and field major awards, Marywood University senior Brandon Reed (Taylor, Pa.) was named the 2025 AEC Men's Track and Field Rookie of the Year, while Marywood University Head Coach Cameron Stinchfield and his staff – Kevin Borelli, Barry Morgan, Curtis Reynolds, and Shane Mastro – garnered the 2025 AEC Men's Track and Field Coaching Staff of the Year, and Marywood University senior Scott Gartley was named the 2025 AEC Men's Track and Field Elite 20 winner.
