Biography

SOPHOMORE (2021-2022) – O’Neill was a member of the Griffins’ 4x400-Meter Relay team that earned All-Atlantic East Conference (AEC) Second Team recognition (2nd, 4:31.71) at the league’s championship meet. She also earned All-AEC Second Team honors in the Heptathlon with her personal best finish of 2,201 points (2nd). O’Neill enjoyed several other personal bests, including the 100-Meter (23rd, 14.30 @ TCNJ Invitational on Apr. 2), 400-Meter Hurdles (7th, 1:15.86 @ Ursinus College Outdoor Invitational on Apr. 9), Long Jump (30th, 4.09 @ Widener University Invitational on Apr. 23), and 400-Meter (24th, 1:09.01 @ Lions’ Invitational on Apr. 30).

JUNIOR (2022-2023) - O'Neill played a huge role in Gwynedd Mercy placing fifth during the Atlantic East Confrence (AEC) Championship Meet (May 5-6) with multiple top-five finishes in the 100-Meter Hurdle (4th, 18.90), the 400-Meter Hurdles (4th, 1:16.78), and the High Jump (3rd, 1.34). O'Neill also finished eighth in the 200-Meter (30.79).

SENIOR (2023-2024) – O’Neill was the Red and Gold’s top contributor at the 2023-2024 AEC Track and Field Championships (May 3 & 4) with third-place finishes in the 100-Meter Hurdles (3rd, 18.37, 6 points), 400-Meter Hurdles (3rd, 1:09.88, 6 points), and High Jump (3rd, 1.37, 8 points) as well as the anchor run of the Griffins’ fourth-place performance in the 4x100-Meter (McCluskey, McFarland, Brennan, O’Neill; 4th, 56.79, 4 points) helping her factor into 24 of the Griffins’ 47 points (4th of 5, 47 points). Her championship performances in the 400-Meter Hurdles and High Jump both served as personal records. During the course of the season, O’Neill also established personal records in the 200-Meter (41st, 29.53 at the Billy Butler Invitational on Apr. 13), 400-Meter (2nd, 1:04.10 at the Blue Jay Tune-Up on April 26 & 27), and Long Jump (36th, 4.46 at the Paul Donahue Invitational on Apr. 19 & 20). She was named to the AEC Track and Field Weekly Honor Roll on March 26 after a first-place finish (1st, 1:14.74) in 400-Meter Hurdles at West Chester University’s Purple and Gold Invitational (Mar. 23).

GRADUATE (2024-2025) – O’Neill turned in another impressive performance at the AEC Women’s Track and Field Championships (May 3 & 4) as she pointed in the 100-Meter Hurdles (2nd, 18.10, 8 points), 400-Meter Hurdles (2nd, 1:14.11, 8 points), High Jump (2nd, 1.40, 8 points), Long Jump (4th, 4.43, 4 points), and Triple Jump (3rd, 10.32, 6 points). She earned All-AEC Second Team honors in the first three and established personal records in the High Jump and Triple Jump, while totaling 34 of the Griffins’ 64.5 points (5th of 6) at the league meet. Earlier in the season, O’Neill also celebrated personal records in the 60-Meter Hurdles (14th, 10.91 @ Moravian University Invitational on Jan. 18) and Long Jump (7th, 4.88 @ Stockton University Invitational on Mar. 22).
