Lancaster, Pa. – (12/15/2025) – Gwynedd Mercy University senior forward Erin Eisenhart (Bethlehem, Pa.) garnered the Atlantic East Conference (AEC) Women's Basketball Defensive Player of the Week award after recording 13 points, 13 rebounds, three assists, and four steals in the Griffins' 63-39 victory over Penn State Harrisburg (Dec. 13). This is the first AEC Women's Basketball Weekly Award the Griffin captain has earned in her collegiate career; she was named a to the AEC Women's Basketball Weekly Honor Roll three times (November 25, December 16, and January 27) during the 2024-2025 season.
 
Opposite Eisenhart, Pratt Institute senior guard Kylie Grant (Dallas, Texas) was named the AEC Women's Basketball Player of the Week. The AEC Women's Basketball Weekly Honor Roll included Saint Elizabeth University graduate guard Yasminah White (Newark, N.J.), as well as, Immaculata University sophomore forward Carly Coleman (Springfield, Pa.) and senior guard/forward Olivia Ettorre (Mickleton, N.J.).
 
Gwynedd Mercy University (3-6) set the tone early and never looked back as the Griffins defeated Penn State Harrisburg (2-9) by a 63-39 final in the team's final home game before the New Year. Junior forward Rachel Dunn (Lansdale, Pa.) played her best game since joining the Red and Gold, finishing with 14 points, seven rebounds, a block, and three steals. Eisnehart's 13-point, 13-rebound performance marks the first double-double of her senior season and the second of her collegiate career; she recorded the first with 16 points and 10 rebounds against Penn State Berks on November 10, 2023.
 
Gwynedd Mercy University is back in action tonight, Monday, December 15, when they travel to Delaware Valley University for a 6:00 p.m. tip-off.
