A big sixth inning from the red and gold would propel Gwynedd Mercy past Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) (4-8) with a final score of 6-4. Senior pitcher Frank Ebling (Cherry Hill, N.J.) had a .44 era heading into the game and got the nod from Coach Brooks to start this contest. Ebling pitched five innings giving up no earned runs, three hits, three walks, and striking out two in the victory (4-0).
- Senior pitcher Joe Golden (Churchville, Pa.) came in relief for Ebling allowing two earned runs on two hits, two walks, and striking out three.
- Junior pitcher Cooper Root (Runnemede, N.J.) went for a two-inning save where he gave up two hits, one earned run, and earning his first (1) save of the 2024 season.
- Down 1-0 going into the fourth inning a single from both Root and junior infielder Ricky Templeton (West Deptford, N.J.) allowed both to score from an error from the second baseman and a sacrifice fly to right field from freshman infielder Ryan Horner (Cinnaminson, N.J.) (2-1)
- In the sixth inning, Templeton, senior infielder Nick Price (Levittown, Pa.), freshman outfielder Aiden Tesche (Avondale, Pa.), and Horner all crossed home plate being the final runs for the Griffins.
