Gwynedd Valley, Pa. – (9/14-2022) – With the lights shining down onto the field and just 13 seconds left to go in the game, Eastern University had a chance to tie things up with Gwynedd Mercy University. A Griffin needed to step up to stop the Eagles' last-second penalty corner and senior defensemen
Alexis Schambers (West Chester, Pa.) did just that as the Griffin captain rushed out to meet the striking Eagle stick and denied any chance of stalemate. Sophomore forward
Cheyenne Avellino (Egg Harbor, N.J.) played a perfect pass to sophomore forward
Amber Sims (Perkasie, Pa.) for a tap-in tally that served as the eventual Griffin game winner, 1-0 (34:34).

th minute; 1-0 (34:34). From there Schambers, graduate defender
