Gwynedd Mercy University (17-20, 10-8) and Cabrini University (30-9, 13-5) had their three-game regular season series on Friday, April 29, and Saturday, April 30, with the Cavalier hosting the nine-inning affair and the Griffins hosting the twin bill.

The Cavaliers scored the first run of Friday's contest with a second-inning tally, 1-0. The Griffins answered with two runs in the top of the third as two-out walks to senior right fielder T.J. Brasier (Levittown, Pa.) and senior left fielder Brett Swire (Boyertown, Pa.) set the table for an error at third, 1-1, and a run-scoring single to second base from junior Nick Price (Levittown, Pa.); 2-1. Unfortunately, Cabrini University evened the score in the bottom of the second inning, 2-2, and grabbed a one-run lead with a fourth-inning squeeze; 3-2. A Price lead-off double turned into the tying run in the top of the eighth inning, 3-3 but a 10-run bottom of the eighth propelled the home team to an eventual 13-4 final.

Gwynedd Mercy University walked-off with the first game of Saturday's doubleheader thanks to a successful squeeze bunt from senior second baseman Jake Martell (Yardley, Pa.); 4-3. Unfortunately, the Griffins lost game two to the Cavaliers on an eighth-inning single to left field; 7-6. Gwynedd Mercy University got out to an early 3-0 lead before Cabrini University tied the opener with a pair of sixth-inning runs; 3-3. After, sophomore Mitchell Bramsway (Temecula, Calif.) recorded his fifth scoreless out, a lead-off single through the left side from senior catcher Nate Campbell (Royersford, Pa.), a wild pitch, a balk, a walk to senior center fielder Jack Jamison (Fort Washington, Pa.), set the table for Martell's successful squeeze. Bramsway earned the win (4-1) with 1.2 innings of untouched relief.

In the second game, the Cavaliers owned a 1-0 advantage before back-to-back sacrifice flies from Brasier and Swire gave the Griffins a 2-1 lead at the end of three innings. Cabrini University got the lead back with two runs in the top of the fifth, 3-2, but a sixth-inning grand slam from Price gave the Gwynedd Mercy University a 6-3 lead heading to the later frames. There, the Cavaliers evened the score with a three-run seventh, 6-6, and scored the eventual winning run with a two-out single to left in the eighth inning; 7-6.
