Men's Lacrosse Among National Statistical Leaders

GWYNEDD VALLEY, PA. -- In the latest batch of statistical rankings released by the NCAA on Tuesday, the Gwynedd Mercy Men's Lacrosse Team is well represented.

Junior Nico Belardo (Columbus, N.J./Northern Burlington) is tied for fourth in Division III out of over 200 institutions in assists per game (3.10 apg) and 20th in points per game (4.70 ppg).

Sophomore Tony McCraw (Lawnton, Pa./Central Dauphin East) is third in faceoff percentage, winning 90-of-132 faceoffs (73.8%). He is also 21st in groundballs per game (7.50 gpg).

On the season, Belardo leads the CSAC with 31 assists and is second in points with 47. He leads the team with five man-up goals. McCraw is tops in the conference in groundballs (75) and per game (7.50).

As a team, Gwynedd Mercy is ranked 26th in scoring offense, averaging 12.6 goals per contest.

The Griffins (7-3, 3-0 CSAC) look to stay unbeaten in CSAC play when they travel to Immaculata today in a conference clash starting at 4 p.m.
