BOX SCOREGWYNEDD VALLEY, PA. -- Seven different Griffins found the back of the net as Gwynedd Mercy improved to 2-0 in conference play with a 14-5 win over Rosemont on Wednesday.

Nico Belardo (Columbus, N.J./Northern Burlington) led the charge with seven points on three goals and four assists. Senior
Mason Risner (Lancaster, Pa./Hempfield) netted five goals and added an assist while sophomore
Tommy Belmont (Malvern, Pa./Great Valley) chipped in two goals and three helpers.
After building a 4-1 lead after the first, Risner netted to two goals sandwiched between a tally from senior
Anthony Scardina (Hillsborough, N.J./Hillsborough) to help the Griffins (6-3) take a 7-1 edge into the half.
Gwynedd registered four man-up goals on the day, two from Risner and two from Belardo. GM would outshoot Rosemont, 57-21, and hold a 42-18 groundball edge. Sophomore
Tony McCraw (Lawnton, Pa./Central Dauphin East) won 18-of-23 faceoffs.
McCraw,
Richard Delea (Hanover, Pa./Southwestern), and
Alfonso Manzo (Manahawkin, N.J./Southern) also scored for the Griffins.
Marc Bushong (Sewell, N.J./Washington Twp.) set a single-game record with five caused turnovers.
Stephen Licata netted three goals and added an assist for the Ravens (2-7, 0-2 CSAC).

Gwynedd Mercy is right back at it on Saturday when they welcome Centenary on Senior Day in a CSAC showdown starting at noon.
