BOX SCOREGWYNEDD VALLEY, PA. -- Gwynedd Mercy defeated Cedar Crest, 8-1, on Senior Day as the Griffins capped the regular season at 9-1 in CSAC play.
Before the match, the Griffins (10-4) took time to honor their three seniors:
Corina Davis (Lansdale, Pa./North Penn),
Taylor Michener (Warrington, Pa./Central Bucks South), and
Gabrielle Muller (Sicklerville, N.J./Washington Twp.). The trio responded with five wins on the day.
Gwynedd Mercy will now focus on defending their CSAC Team Championship as the playoffs kick off on Friday at the Arthur Ashe Legacy Youth Tennis and Education Courts in Philadelphia. Gwynedd Mercy, Cabrini, Marywood, and Neumann will all compete for the title over the weekend.
