BETHLEHEM, PA. -- The Griffin Women's Tennis Team notched a pair of wins at the Moravian Team Tournament on Saturday, first edging out Misericordia, 5-4, then taking down Rutgers-Camden, 7-2.

Jim Holt was optimistic about the play so far this season, but sees gradual room for improvement. "As usual, Rachel helped carry the team, but great efforts were put forth by multiple players on the team, which led to our overall successes, and overall success is what wins matches. We were above average today but 'above average' is not what we are striving for".
The Griffins (3-0) are back in action a week from Monday, September 9th, in their home opener against Division Iii University of the Sciences at 4:30 p.m.
