ROSEMONT, PA. -- Behind a season-high in goals, Gwynedd-Mercy romped to their fifth-straight win in defeating Rosemont, 25-8, on Monday afternoon.
14 different players registered goals for the Griffins (7-4, 3-1 CSAC). The team also registered 16 assists total, which is a single-game team record and tied one with 55 groundballs.
Nick Guglielmi (Holland, Pa./Council Rock South) led Gwynedd with four goals.
Roy Bakeoven (Philadelphia, Pa./Archbishop Ryan) and
Mason Risner (Lancaster, Pa./Hempfield) each added three apiece.
GM led 7-1 after the first and 14-3 at the half.
Stephen Lacata led the Ravens (1-12, 0-4 CSAC) with five goals. Justin Regan added a score and two assists. Rosemont was outshot, 66-22.
