GWYNEDD VALLEY, PA. -- Gwynedd Mercy secured the top seed in the CSAC Team Tournament for the sixth year in a row as the Griffins defeated Rosemont, 8-1, on Friday.
Gwynedd, winners of four straight matches, now stand at 14-2 and 9-0 in the conference.
The Griffins can close out the regular season tomorrow when they host Keystone. With a win, Gwynedd can finish unblemished in CSAC play for the sixth-straight year. The CSAC Team Tournament starts next weekend with semifinal play starting on Friday at the Arthur Ashe Legacy Youth Tennis Center in Philadelphia.
