GWYNEDD VALLEY, PA. – 11 different Griffins found the back of the net as Gwynedd-Mercy ran away in a 14-0 win over Notre Dame of Maryland to give the Griffins their first CSAC win on the year.
Senior
Kelsey Deveney (Dalton, Pa./Lackawanna Trail) and juniors
Maria Karidas (Richboro, Pa./Council Rock South) and
Erin Magee (Lindenwold, N.J./Paul VI) scored two goals apiece.
Karidas, along with senior
Erin Gorenflo (Plymouth Meeting, Pa./Plymouth-Whitemarsh), junior
Caitlin Donahue (Huntingdon Valley, Pa./Lower Moreland), and freshman
Stephanie Bacho (Cinnaminson, N.J./Holy Cross) each had two assists.
Seven of the goals, including the first two of the game from Deveney, came off a penalty corner. GM outshot, the Gators, 35-2.

Brittany Wilson (Huntingdon Valley, Pa./Lower Moreland),
Sarah Jackson (Sewell, N.J./Washington Twp.),

Megan Senkeleski (Little Silver, N.J./Red Bank) also scored for the Griffins (7-3, 1-1 CSAC).
Emily Langton made 10 saves for Notre Dame (0-10, 0-5 CSAC).
The Griffins will play at FDU-Florham on Friday night at 7 p.m. and follow that up with a home game the following day against Cedar Crest at 3 p.m.
