Clark’s Career-High Recognized on AEC Men’s Basketball Weekly Honor Roll
Lancaster, Pa. – (11/14/2022) – Junior guard Manny Clark (Pottsgrove, Pa.) impressed in his 2022-2023 debut, leading Gwynedd Mercy University in a 58-51 loss at Penn State Abington with a career-high 26 points and five rebounds. The performance earned him a spot on the first Atlantic East Conference (AEC) Men’s Basketball Weekly Honor Roll of the season.
Clark scored his career-high 26 points – and half of Gwynedd Mercy University’s total points - with a 10-of-16 (.625) shooting effort that included a 3-of-5 (.600) success rate from three-point range and a perfect, 3-of-3 (1.000) showing at the free throw line. He was the only Griffin in double figures and he headlined the Griffins’ - 40.0% (22-of-55) - 36.4% (20-of-55) - field goal advantage over the Nittany Lions.
Gwynedd Mercy University make their home debut on Tuesday, November 15, when the host Arcadia University for an 8:00 p.m. Battle of 309 tip-off.
